I have always been obsessed with words and the power they hold. From a young age I read everything I could, disappearing into fantastical realms filled with elves and dwarves and wild creatures not of this world. As I have evolved in my art those fantasy realms have remained a staple of inspiration to my work merging with the historical art and culture of my diverse heritage, pulling from my roots in Scandinavia, particularly Norway and Sweden.
The influence of heavy music is intricately woven within each piece to bring a darkness to my work expressing the lonliness and resilience of the human condition. Often centered around a circle each piece flows and bends in unique ways reflecting the push and pull of life’s victories and struggles.
